I'm building a 1968 USAF F-4D Gunfighter for a GB on another site, and was wondering if any of your snake eyes are the right model for me. If not, which ones are. Zactoman Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 I'm no expert (others please correct me if I get this wrong), but I think it depends on what year Phantom you are building. AIM-9B from 1964 to 1969 AIM-9E from 1969 to 1972 AIM-9J from 1972 til the end of the war. I would imagine there would be some overlap. Unfortunately I don't make any of these versions (yet).
