Scooby
Apparently they are according to this auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3190894137 They are made by Cartograph. I thought Hasegawa did a boxing of it too. Perhaps it is the Hasegawa kit with Cartograph decals.
Scooby
Whoops, wrong airplane! Looks the same though!
Scooby
Upon further review, Hasegawa did do a boxing of that aircraft. It was probably Cartograph decals as well. http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?HSGPT110

DePat
Can anybody tell me how many versions there have been of this scheme on the Rhino? I have the AeroMaster decals for BuNo 165860 and they are definitely different from the photo presented by FlyNavy. Are the spine and the tails black because on the instruction sheet it more looks like a dark olive drab? Ther is a difference with the black NAVY title. Ken Middleton
I have the Aeromaster sheet in my for sale list if interested... Aeromaster Sheet
Rodney
As a side note, VFA-27 currently is flying the F/A-18E not the C as pictured. The Hasegawa 1/48 F/A-18E that just came out has these markings and the Revell boxing of the F/A-18E has these markings. HTH, Rodney

Mike5401
We at VF-Decals are doing the sheet! Got all the info awhile ago from a few friends in the squadron. Our sheet will be in 48th and will have the CAG bird with 2 sets of different CAG and DCAG names, and 2 Line birds. You should see these jets are flithy. Look for them in the next few months or so. Thanks Mike
Mike5401
Also Flynavy the pic you posted is of an F-18C as others have mentioned. VFA-27's paint scheme is different then pictured above. Mike
volzj
Brian, Nice to hear you'll be doing the line birds. I like that CAG aircraft but it gets done a lot.
