Ken Middleton
http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Marin...-18D/1849084/L/ Interesting for a C unit to have an ATARS D was previously with VMFA(AW)-
scotthldr
Might be in connection with any upcoming deployments to the Middle East, giving the unit there own "recce" capability?

Bulldog 09
Kind of like a Delta unit having a Charlie model. This is a shot of VMFA(AW)-225 notice number 11 is an ATARS D, #12 is a standard D model, and #13 is a C. Number 143 is a Foxtrot model from VFA-102. These aircraft had just gotten back from Eglin AFB and live fire exercises with the AIM-9X and the JHMCS. Dave Fassett Edited February 23, 2011 by Bulldog
