Thanx guys.

And I'm at the weathering stage.

Now I've seen pics of forts with staining from the upper vents is this right?

As I would like to weather this fort authentically.

Right she's finished.

Just some teaser shots at the moment as it's just gone midnight here, and I will take better pics in natural daylight when it's lighter.

I weathered the underside, and the grey is a little darker to what you see in the pics.

And I didn't weather the upper side behind the vents as wasn't sure if that's the case or not.

Love it! If I could just make one suggestion though, is feather out the weathering just a bit... it looks a little too narrow underneath... hmmmmm.... this picture here really shows how much the exhaust spread in a short distance moving back...

From all the pictures I've seen, unless the Fort had an engine fire, there wasn't really much of an effect of really black smoke running down the wing... I'd say, especially on a gloss black finish, you're got the right idea going.

That being said, the rest of this build is superb! Can't wait to see some of those daylight shots...

Cheers!

Mark

Thanx Mark.

And thank you for the suggestion always appreciated.

And I've got the daylight pics here.

But, as there is no gallery thread yet I have no where to post 'em.
