twhite80
More progress. I was originally now going to fade the panels on the jet, but it just adds so much more depth.
twhite80
A little more. Going to decal this puppy soon.
twhite80
I have actually attached the landing gear sinc these pics. Should be done soon. I had a near emergency when the Polly Scale flat added an unwanted dusty hue to my jet. I oversprayed that with Testors flat lacquer and it cleared up. The finish is just okay. I decided to scratch build the anti-retraction braces for my phantom. You will see those on the final update. Cheers

jminer
Tyler, I'll be happy if mine turns out looking half as good as that. Spectacular job! Justin
Pete W
That's a good looking build, love the finish that you've achieved. I've got a soft spot for the RF-4C, having grown up close to RAF Alconbury in the UK and seen many of these over my head. I've just finished one too and this makes me want to drag another one out of the pile. Can't wait to see the finished build. Pete
twhite80
Thanks for all the comments! Pete, I too have a huge soft spot for these Recce Rhinos. I used to sit in my back yard and watch these jets fly over my house in Lincoln, I am really happy I could finally build one with like this. I will post the final product in the finished section when I have the wheel blocks and the ladder done. But here is what I have. Again I want to give a great big huge thanks to jminer for the 155th base from 3wire.
