Wild Weasel V
The A320 doesn't use either P&W or RR engines. Only CFM or IAE :) Not yet, the A320NEO will be offered with a P&W engine. Actually, Rolls-Royce make the fan blades for the V2500 (along with the HP compressor) and Pratt & Whitney are responsible for the HP Turbine and Combustor as part of the IAE consortium. They both also build the engine, R-R originally in Derby but now in Dahlewitz, Germany and P&W in Middletown, Connecticut. So technically it's both. United Airlines certainly treat it as a Pratt engine!
Tony P
I may have fan blades for you. Let me check as I used the extratech PE fans on my CFM powered machine.

Wild Weasel V
Neo?? Nothing to do with a Canadian block of wood appearing in an overblown sci-fi trilogy... New Engine Option - basically a mid-life update to improve efficiency. The first aircraft are expected about the end of 2012 with deliveries starting in 2013. It has new engines: the Pratts as already mentioned and CFMI have designed an upgrade to the trusty CFM56 called LEAP-X. It also gets redesigned blended winglets (called Sharklets) similar to those on 737s and there are various other refinements to reduce fuel burn. This is intended to extend the life until the point where Boeing and Airbus have extracted every last drop of usefulness out of their current single aisle families and airlines begin demanding that their replacements become available.
