Aigore
Part 2 A brace was fitted to the MLG legs.... The nose strut... I fitted the strut support arm and on the other side of the strut a 0.6mm hole was drilled and a 0.5mm piece of piano wire was fitted there. Then the struts were primed in Alclad flat black As were the bay door insides... The wheel wells are masked... Preshaded in flat black... The oleos are painted alclad aircraft aluminium and masked off... Then the struts were painted in Light Gull Grey. As was the wheel bays. There! Now I´ve clear coated the airframe and the next step is to detail the landing gears and then get on to decals! Cheers!!

And the specific aircraft that you have chosen is very interesting too... Now you are on the final stretch! Keep that good work. Juan

JFVicente
Great! You are almost done with that... One question tough: I really like to add to my kits as much stencils as possible, but on a splinter Viggen, will they be really visibles? I need you to show it on a pic, when you were able RGDS Juan Edited April 19, 2013 by JFVicente
Aigore
Gosh! Looks great! Is there a bit overflowed paint on the leading edge of the left canard? More of an no-flow :P seems there was a lil´ piece of tape I should have removed. Uuuh... very nice. Luulin että olisi jo valmis ;)/> Äla luule niin paljon :P Sooon.... Great! You are almost done with that... One question tough: I really like to add to my kits as much stencils as possible, but on a splinter Viggen, will they be really visibles? I need you to show it on a pic, when you were able RGDS Juan I so wanna be done with this now! LOL there´s hundreds of the darn things everywhere..specially on the underside, the upper side doesn´t have much aside from some texts over hatches or No Step stencils. I´m seriously starting to doubt there´s a point to the stencils on the underside but the few on the upperside and on the pylons are well worth the time. NO pic today... a couple of more days of decaling to go :P

Troll
There as in Göteborg or former F15 Söderhamn? In Söderhamn. Quite impressive. They are using the old RB05 simulator screen, which is 36kvm and curved, and 6 projectors. Jorgen "Troll" Toll

Aigore
Ah the decals are finaly done! Time to move on to other matters.... Some leg work to begin with, the landing gears needs some detailing! First I glued on the wheels and it´s important to pay attention to how they are glued on! There is a little PE detail in the inside hub that needs to be at, thinking in clock positions now, 1300 for the front wheel and at 1100 for the rear wheel. All the wheels in place :D Then I cut 4 8mm pieces of piano wire And they should connect to the wheel like so.. Done... Then I made 3 little holes in the strut at the aft end of the wheel support. and one hole at the front end.... First I added 2 pieces of 0.3mm leadwire to the ends.... And then I added two lengths of lead wire to the rear of the strut, about 12mmm long. I folded them and glued the ends to where the pianowire is attached to the strut. End of part
