One of my cats had to check it out too Here it is with a 1/48 scale B-17F fuselage half for size reference. I know it is not 100% accurate, I plan on adding details to it. What I am looking for is some good drawings/photos of the area so I know where the details go and what exactly they are. I know I need to add the oxygen regulator and gauges, the intercom box, a brace for the .50 cal pedestal, probably some armor plates . . . but what else?????? I would appreciate any help anyone can offer. I have been googling away and find lots of restored "G" model pictures, but not "F"s. Thanks for looking. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It is right for an early "F", I have seen pictures of the ammo cans in use. I will probably make a couple more cans and a rack to store them in. There is also a "G" version with the enclosed window, that comes with an ammo belt. I bought this version because I got it for a price I couldn't refuse.
