Excep for the Avro Bison, I saw no ugly planes in this thread - more interesting forms, designs, or examples for "form follows function".

You adopt a very strict definition of ugly, then, because there are some certain candidates to be found here. I don't view ugliness as a function of an aircraft's design characteristics, but rather its aesthetics. Planes like the Il-40 and X-32 fit the bill by that standard.

I've also wanted a kit of an Optica in 1/72 for ages.

Maybe not the most attractive of airplanes, but it looks like it'd be a lot of fun for sightseeing flights!

plus this one looks like they could be the best bug (natures' products) suckers in the world..they could ingest the skeeters, or locusts and spit'em out the back on a field to be used as fertilizer :whistle: .

See I DO NOT find them ugly at all..I think that

they are aesthetically challenged and have a certain

refulgency about them...

One or two one here are quite refulgent I would say...

But that is ME ...{weird}.. :whistle::coolio:
