The "Naked 190" work: Hasegawa 1/48

Diego, you are a genius! The plane is amazing- the variation in metal tones, ragged paint work and fresh primer is a real treat. The cloth over the wing is perfection! Your friend did wonders with the base, to- love the pavers/brickwork.

Cheers, my friend- it's a real triumph!

HOT DAMN! Tha's some nice work there. One of my favorite things is the water(?) stains on the wood work bench. Incredible attn to detail there!

*edit: you even have the wood steps worn more where typical foot traffic would be-- AWESOME!

Hello,

First, as someone who worked with spanish modelers few years ago, I just can say that they are not only very, very, very talented, but also nice and particularly profesional people, and not only as authors.

Now concerning Diego, and this particular model, just one thing : WHAT ELSE §§§§§§

I could say so much more in french but he certainly knows what's on my mind.

Well done, and god bless your hand (your airbrush, and perhaps/may be your wife for her patience ...)

Hi Anis, happy to see your awesome models in ARC. Thanks for your kind words, you know I think the same of you (or even more).
Truly lovely !!! How did you do the "staining" of the panel lines? What kind of wash did you use ? antoine
Hi Antoine,

I used white oil paint. First I applied small spots of paint along the rivet lines and then I stumped them with a short haired brush. Fw190A-8_09.jpg

Wow!

What a feast for the eyes.

If anyone ever says that modelling can't be art I'd show them this to prove them wrong.

Beautiful work Diego.

You are a hugely talented individual Sir.

Thank you for taking the time to share your model here. It has been my pleasure to see it. :salute:

Spectacular! I love the level of realism you've achieved through subtle weathering and paint chipping. This is truly inspirational, thanks so much for sharing it with us
