skyarc Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 Would an Fw190A-1 have the raised gun blisters on the top of the wing next to the fuselage? I know they are on the bottom of the wing outside of the L/G but I’m unsure of what is on the top. Thanks for any help. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Chuck1945 Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 No, the A-1 was equipped with a MG 17 in each wing root (as well as 2 in the upper fuselage), no bulge. The A-2 switched to wing root 20mm cannon and that is when the bulge appeared. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
