KursadA
The first ANG F-100 sheet is almost done; and I will be send the design sometime next week to start the printing process. I will post a preview of the artwork here after I send it out and get a firm delivery date. These will be in the market sometime in July. The first sheet will cover the following aircraft (all wearing the SEA camouflage scheme): -Connecticut ANG F-100D & F-100F -Indiana ANG F-100D(x2) & F-100F -Georgia ANG F-100D & F-100F -Missouri ANG F-100C, F-100D(x2) & F-100F -Comprehensive maintenance stencilling & national insignia for two aircraft The second sheet is also more than halfway done. I will announce the subjects of this sheet when it is complete. I would like to release more ANG F-100 sheets, particularly earlier silver-painted birds. It will probably be a while before I do these, since I would like to see how the SEA sheets sell first. I plan to do these in 1/72 as well. Are there any ANG F-100 units that you would like to have on any of these sheets? Please let me know, so I can start planning them.
Lancer512
What about New Mexico ANG F-100C? Maybe even when they deployed to Vietnam with SK tailcodes? Edited June 3, 2011 by Lancer512
KursadA
What about New Mexico ANG F-100C? Maybe even when they deployed to Vietnam with SK tailcodes? The second sheet will have two New Mexico ANG F-100C's, one in ADC Gray with the large red/black decorations, and the other one in SEA. I have not thought about including a Vietnam-era airframe, but it's definitely a good idea.

viking73
Hi, I think that the Ohio ANG would be a good option. Also, what about maybe some "bonus" decals to be able to create QF-100D/F markings? I'd better get my 1/72 ESCI F-100D and my AMT 1/72 F-100F dusted off. I can't wait to have some new decals for them, thank you. -Derek

EDIT:Just seen you have a Missouri C and F on the upcoming sheet, looks like I'm hunting for a couple of kits! With the full stencils and the subjects,I'll probably be picking up several sheets of the releases.Besides being a F-4 and F-16 fan,I grew up watching and being around Hun's and they have a big spot reserved in my heart. thegoodsgt
I'll be a bit of a contrarian here and ask you to consider active duty markings first. There's a big gap in markings for F-100D (SEA scheme) that served in the Vietnam War. There's Extra Decal (?) sheet but it's rare and goes for big money on the eBay. I'd really like to build a 1/48th model loaded down with bombs (such as it was for the Hun) but am in need of good markings.

There are rumors that such an F-100 sheet is under development by a well-known decal company. I will stick to ANG Huns for a while, I think there is material there for at least 3 sheets of SEA markings. If there is no announcement of a Vietnam Hun sheet by the October-November timeframe, I will seriously consider doing one myself.

I recall reading the same thing over a year ago but I can't recall who it was. Doesn't really matter as long as we get something on the market!
Bulldog 09
You can put me down for a sheet of SEA Huns. There are already enough NM sheets out there to choke a moose. Dave Fassett

If there is no announcement of a Vietnam Hun sheet by the October-November timeframe, I will seriously consider doing one myself. I think SEA ANG Hun's would be popular as well as early USAF/ANG NMF/silver subjects.I'm not sure about the "well known" decal companys doing SEA subjects,I believe current USAF/USN/USMC subjects will always put subjects like the Hun on their back burner. When I research subjects for decal companys I usually have a couple interested in the same subject and it's usually the upstart/smaller or newer company that will actually produce the subject well before the "well known" ones.I would say the heck with them and go with what you have references and pics for and kick them out, waiting for the other guy to do something will most likely end up with the subject not/never being produced at all. I agree with Bulldog,I think there enough NMF USAF Hun sheets out there to choke a horse,SEA USAF/ANG(NMF ANG subjects would great since we have now early Hun kits on the market now) subjects would be the way to go since there are so few out there and the ones that are out there are highly sought after and fetch high dollar prices. Ok,off my soapbox now, carry on gentlemen :) Edited June 25, 2011 by ThePhantomTwo

tsculton
I'll be buying the first sheet with the Mo ANG markings in whatever scale or scales you produce them in. Being a bid MoANG fan, now I can have everything from the F - 84-100-4-15.

texasraider
On ANG f-100s i would like to see..the 175th of South Dakota..the 182nd of Texas..and the 122nd out of Louisiana would be nice...the thought of new sheets in ANG markings for the old century series is great...please no offense but another sheet of F-18s or for the 109 that Marseille was flying when he scored his 114th kill can wait awhile longer

Rocky
I'd like to have decals for a 131st TFS F-100D, of the Massachusetts ANG. One flew low over me at the first airshow I ever went to. It was the loudest thing I had ever heard, and I was thrilled beyond description. The F-100s of the 131st were probably the closest F-100s to anyone in Boston, and five New England states. I'd guess a 131st TFS decal sheet would be as popular as any. Edited August 22, 2011 by Rocky
Cool Hand
102nd FW out of Cape Cod had Huns in the early 70's. I'll try to dig up some more info.
Ken Middleton
The F-100s of the 131st were probably the closest F-100s to anyone in Boston, and five New England states. I'd guess a 131st TFS decal sheet would be as popular as any. As mentioned, the 102nd had them at Otis for about a year in the early 70's, before converting to the F-106. Here's a shot of the former static display at Otis I don't believe the actual jets wore these markings, and were actually in the SEA camo. Connecticut also had them at Bradley, just north of Hartford, and there are 6 New England states ;-)
Cool Hand
Funny thing Ken, I could swear that displayed Hun used to be in SEA paint.
