Flightliner
Thanks a lot John for your help.I was after pictures of F-4J 153783 "Vandy 1" and as far as I can see on the pictures the walkways on the upper fuselage are dark gray. The instruction sheet for Hobby Decals (Dry-Transfers) recommends FS 37038, but I do'nt trust that. What's your opinion in this matter ? Pete
John Wolstenholme
recommends FS 37038, What's your opinion in this matter ? Pete Pete, perhaps if I give you my guess maybe an expert will then come along and shoot me down in flames! It is difficult to tell a colour from photos, monitors etc for all the reasons we know about. I looked at the Yellow Hammer decals instructions and all it says is a "Gray (Grey to me) Corogard Nonslip paint". Perhaps looking at FS36081, with attendant weathering, may be a possibility. http://www.colorserver.net/showcolor.asp?fs=36081&size=xl Into the dark room and see what develops!.
