UK_tomcat_fan
There is damage on the ventral fin, this wouldn't have affected the aircraft, she could have flown with it, it would have been repaired during deep maintenance or when she would have had hanger queen status. Interestingly enough she was retired in 06, with the rest of the fleet however it would appear that she hasnt been fully Demilled yet (Canopy open, seats in tact, Canopy unpainted, engines in tact) so I'm not sure how / why this has happened. VFA-103guy
This F-14 will never be fully de-mil'd. The museum keeps it's aircraft pretty intact and complete since they are owned/operated by the Navy. Glad to see they brought 204 inside.

Wolfgun33
Very cool. When I was there visiting, they hadn't finished the new hangar yet. Guess I need to make another trip down there sometime.

jimz66
Does anyone make decals for this aircraft in this scheme?
phantom
Keep in mind that is a museum scheme. 204s last flight was in TPS. If not mistaken 204 had the honor of the last tomcat combat mission and was repainted by 213 crews once it landed at the museum. As for decals it's either fightertown or afterburner that made a very nice VF-213 sheet.
jimz66
I just checked it is on that sheet but in the TPS like you said. Oh well. i would really like to build it in THIS SCHEME.....
