mawz
I'm in, Revell's 1/72 P-51B Mustang III in the box markings for the Polish Squadron bird. Might do a second as well if I have time, there's a few Mustangs in my stash.
marvin20
I'm in. Will build Tamiya's 1/48 P-51D and add aftermarket decals.
FlyingSnowmew
I'll join with a Tamiya 1/72 P-51D. Maybe I can actually finish it... Would be a first in several years.
Cobrahistorian
Been MIA for a bit due to some family issues (new baby, etc!), but I'm here! I'll be starting on my F-6A build as soon as I finish my current P-47D-16-RE build! Still haven't decided whether I'm going to build it as a 154th TRS, 111th TRS or 86th FG airplane... By the way, does anyone have an Accurate Miniatures kit that isn't using the K24 camera? I robbed the camera out of my kit a few months ago for a P-47 build I was doing (scratchbuilt photo recon pylon) and now I'm looking for one to replace it. Jon
Mike J. Idacavage
Hi! I have never built a Mustang kit but have a few of these in my stash for future projects. Now that I am wrapping up my UAV GB entry, I thought I would use this GB as motivation to finally do a Mustang. I plan on doing a P-51D (Race #31, NX-66851) from the 1946 Bendix Trophy Race. I will be using a 1/72 Hasegawa P-51D that I have in my collection. Hope I can make the deadline! Have fun modeling! Mike
legendary
Hello, I would like to try to finish two P-51's for this group build, both "Lousiana Heat Wave" flown by Claude Crenshaw, the first will be a P-51D using the Tamyia 1/48th scale kit, and the second will be Classic Airframes P-51H as Crenshaw flew it with the N.H. ANG and carried the same markings as his WW II P-51D, including the victory markings.
Mike C
I'm in with Academy 72nd scale P-51D. Just like all my other projects, it'll be strictly OOB (decals and all). I'm not sure if I can finish this before the end of this GB since I've got my own GB to start in a couple of months, plus my day job being the way it is (busy as hell!). But... I'll try... stevehnz
I thought I was in for this already but I think I'm getting confused with the Mustang GB over on Britmodeller which I've put my hand up for. I've a Heritage Cavalier Dart Mustang conversion to use with the prescribed Academy D kit. Watch this space. ;) Steve.
Andrew Doppel
Hi guys, I'm going to jump aboard with a 1/24 scale Aussie (RAAF) Mustang. I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to do a CAC build or NA build. I'm leaning towards a camoed 3 Squadron NA P-51K as used in Italy at the end of WWII similar to this 1/48 scale one built by my son and myself. I don't know if I'll get enough time either. http://aussiemodeller.com.au/pages/Gallery/Aircraft/Doppel_P-51K.html Regards Andrew
Zero Enna
I'd like to enter this group, but I have the Hobby Boss 1/72 kit, and it is "too easy" to build. I think waht is going to take a lot will be the color scheme, there is a lot of schemes and I'll have to choose only one as I decided to use aftermarket decals because kit provided US national insignias are all four of the same size (wing ones are different size than fuselage ones)... Of course, some parts of the kit need some attention and will be corrected. Best regards. José.
Richard -.
Hi. I'm new to ARC. I'd like to join in with a build of of the Revell 1/48 P-51D, Reno racer. I will be building it as a captured Luftwaffe aircraft. I don't have much time, but I'm sure I can finish it by the end of december. I have to learn how to post pictures etc. Cheers. ThunderGrunt
IM in if I can find a 1/48 Monogram for cheap, It will be a P-51 of the 301st FS Tuskegee Airman, as my Great uncle was one with the 99th and 301st.

Don't watch this space. :( A busier than anticipated last part of the year, then the silly season & finally a family tragedy ( I lost my oldest brother in a tramping accident) has seen this as a definite non finisher. Sorry all, it will happen at a latter date & I'll put some pics up then but nothing worth including yet. Steve.
mungo1974
So is there any chance of a extension on this GB....maybe another 6 months? If the B-17 can get a 12 month GB Why not the P-51? Still slowly working on my Tamiya 1/32 kit,and still have all the WIP stuff im yet to upload Gary

Still slowly working on my Tamiya 1/32 kit,and still have all the WIP stuff im yet to upload Gary Gary, let me consult the powers that be to see if we can get an extension. I don't see why it should be a problem, but I'll PM Steve and make the request to make sure we're "official". I'm going to go with your suggestion and see if we can make it another six months. I know we've had several late entries and there still seems to be interest and several WIP's still in early stages. Heck, I've only managed to begin to paint my P/F-82 cockpit interior thus far. stevehnz
Yes please, I might manage something after all given that. ;) Steve.

stevehnz
Cool, I'll try reall hard to make good use of the extra time, honest. ;) Now where the heck did I put all those bits? Steve.
Cobrahistorian
Awesome! My F-6A and P-51D-5 are next up on the finishing block. I just had a couple other builds that I needed to finish before them. Now that the Spit IX and P-40N are done, it's full speed ahead! Jon
Stefan buysse
Cool! Although I had made some good progress on my P-51K, it was not finished. And while I was working on one P-51K, I simultanously worked on another one (while the paints were out anyway). I needed another P-51K for some decals I bought from a friend, they are for a colorful P-51 from the summer of 1945 in the PTO. Cheers, Stefan.
mawz
Guess I'm going to have to build another one.
oortiz10
Extended? Aw man! I wanted to move on to other projects, but that Tamiya Mustang was so much fun I just might have to build me another one. Hmm...I also have Revell's B/C in the stash too... -O
