twhite80
I got so frustrated with this that I almost tossed it, but I kept with it. I am happy with how it turned out. Just need to do the rigging and clear parts. Any suggestions on what to use for the wires?
blunce
I prefer to use fishing line, run through a Sharpie (cut a slot in the end of it). For 1/48 I use .005 (2lb test). A couple bucks wherever fishing stuff is sold. I get the leader spool, it's got 20yards on it, enough to do a bazillion models!

blunce
Turned out GREAT!! And to think this was the second go around on the finish!! I agree that it probably turned out even better than it would've with the first finish! What did you end up using for the antennae wire?

twhite80
Thanks for comments guys! I went with the 2 lb test for the antenna wire. I had trouble with the flat coat I airbrushed on. It left a whitish film all over so I buffed it out in places tomrestore a little sheen. I thought it looked more accurate but I want to figure out how tomeliminate that white film for next time
