F14 fan
Well, i might be getting a little paranoic about detailing, since i'm looking for some references for the OLD CVAN-65 Uss Enterprise Hangar ceiling.... :) I'm planning on building my 1/720 and 1/400 CVAN-65 Enterprise with a hangar deck ceiling, so i want to make it right, mainly the lights position and the roof beam framing.... All the hangar decks i found are for the modern CVN-65, after the rebuilds..... Or are all US Navy carriers hangar deck roof built the same way, with the same framing spacing and lights position???? If anyone could help me out on this one, i would be gratefully appreciated....

FIGHTS ON
I was reliably informed that much of Enterprise was built along the lines of the Forrestal Class. (I know different lengths etc) but certainly the deck layout etc. So if that widens your search for references.
Vidar_710
Don't think you'll see any major differances in the Big E's framing and lighting positions under the O-3 Level, aka the hanger's ceiling. So, any pics or referances you find for the Enterprise in any erra of her existance should be widely the same. Those kind of changes just aren't done, even in the yards during SLEP Program sessions. Configuration of systems and weapons as she was modified over the decades are the biggest changes you'll see. Tracy
