Froggy
I had the chance to see it during the last week end exhibition in Hyeres (France), and it is even more impressive than on pictures. Awesome job Eric (we talked about the way to form canopies with plexi)!
Eric F
One more step on this part. I can start to work on the side walls now. Thanks for looking. See you soon. Eric
Eric F
Dear all, Starting to make the left side of the aft cockpit. The pics below are ordinary but several hours of thought are hidden behind. The right or wrong position of this side panel will have important consequences on the cockpit proportions. I don't want to have for instance the disagreeable surprise to see the ejection seat badly positionned in the cockpit at the end of the built. This is why I spent hours on my documentation before starting any stuff. So, the very begining comes from the aft cockpit rudder pedals floor. Its position is related to the height of the forward cockpit side panels (both are leveled). After that, I positioned the left side panel from which I defined the dimensions of the side wall. Everything is finally checked with the ejection seat in position to cross check gross errors. The first results here below: The side wall is a rough draft at that step. It should be faster now for the rest. Bye Eric Edited October 24, 2011 by Eric F

Eric F
Hi, Main structure if the left sidewall is finished. Starting the starboard one. It is simpler. Note that the width of the panel is smaller compared to the port one. But it takes time... Cheers Eric Edited October 26, 2011 by Eric F
Eric F
Everything is progressing as espected so far. In the F-16D back seat, the air conditioning vents are part of the wall. They are made with 0.13mm Evergreen. I keep on working on the starboard side. More pics to come this week end. Eric Edited October 28, 2011 by Eric F

Eric F
The aft wall of the front cockpit is set. Note: to be accurate, this wall must be aligned with the two (LH and RH) avionics access doors. Bye Eric
Eric F
Starting to work on the front cockpit. First of all, we can notice that the profile of the LH and the RH side panels is different. Then that is hidden behind... Under different angles now That's all for today. Eric F
Hi, I'm back again after a week thinking about how I was going to make the side walls. After having tryed to modify the ones from the kit, I decided to make them from Evergreen. Her is the result for the left side. Thanks for stopping by.
