goon
Hi all, I'm doing the Skunkworks 1/48 Reaper, and despite my resolution to build it from the box I'm scratching and replacing stuff. I want to improve the simplified nose wheel detail and need a wheel to replace this: The hub is largely flat, with no details. OD is 7.6mm, so 36.4cm actual size. Can anyone point at a wheel on another type that looks the same and is a suitable size? I can then cast around for the cheapest way of obtaining the wheel. Cheers, Gareth

Cheers, Gareth I'm working the same problem in 1/72. Even the Scale Aircraft Conversions white metal parts have the wheel molded into the forks. I'll let you know if I find a candidate in 1/72. tberres2
The Airfix Navy Lynx in 1/72 has a nose wheel that's a match.
