Amen
Epilogue: Hope u like it! When you look the aircraft from top shadows are created in fuselage. Also aircraft's shape can be defined. This anti-satellite camouflage i designed reduces the shadows on the fuselage (by adding light colors) and breaks aircraft shape on the wings or the corners upon skin. The wings are in different shades and in obtuse angles to the ground. This helps to match some part of the wings with the terrain. I didn't like the color results but i'm getting used to them.Well if we consider that this plane operates in night, dark colors are good. The Madhatter
wow man - I just spent the last 30 minutes looking through your build thread  - simply amazing work Amen! Even though I couldn't understand a single word of it, the pictures said so much more. In particular, I really got a lot out of your cockpit lighting work. I might try that on my SU-27. As for the paint job - that is incredibly creative and extremely well executed!! The only thing I wasn't sure on was what looked like a difficult canopy fit. I've never built that kit so I don't really know if it's supposed to be like that. Or is it left like that on purpose for the ability to take it off every now and again to marvel at that brilliant cockpit?
Amen
Hey thanks a lot for your reply and thoughts.I'm glad u like it Madhatter. I can help u with the lights whenever u want. The canopy is not glued and is placed aside on the base so the viewers can see inside the cockpit. For the night shots i placed it on plane.Thats why canopy looks like that.I also added some details on canopy and behind the ejection seat & made the gaps worst.(Which is not a problem on normal pose of model :) ) ps. The new revell kit has a canopy fit issue but can resolved with some plastic. Edited August 5, 2011 by Amen

ChippyWho
No superlatives adequate: the paint scheme (and the thought behind it) alone make this a build apart. Do I need to mention that I LOVE IT!!? Kinda thing I'll be dreaming about for weeks...
