TomcatFanatic123
Question on Future baths for clear parts, like canopies...do you Future them first, and then mask and paint them, or do you mask and paint first? Thanks for the help! ;)

Paul T
Be sure to let the Future " cure" for at least 24 hours or longer if you can,so it hardens properly. Paul T

Steve Filak
24 hours is probably more than safe to let Future cure, but I usually wait at least 48 hours. Cure time depends on a couple of things, temperature and humidity being key factors. It dries best in a warm, dry climate. Also, to prevent dust from ruining your canopy, be sure to place it under a Tupperware dish while drying (don't ask me how I know this...... )

Ya know what, I never really thought of that! Yes, that could be a problem...a BIG problem.
Wally
And, after you mask, give it another coat of Future to seal the edges so the fuse color doesn't seep through. Wally
