Arvus lighter scratchbuild in 1/20 scale

Recommended Posts

Okay. I have three more sets of ten to go. The forum will not allow me to post anymore right now.

Either someone else needs to post inbetween my posts, or there is an upper limit per user per thread. I doubt that's the case.

But i will post the rest after the next person posts in the thread.

Comments welcome guys.

Thanks for looking.

Don´t know the reason, I imagine you have reached the very limit. Wait a couple of days or try posting a new thread with the rest of the images, and make a selection of the pics before posting.

This is an epic project, keep the nice job.

Thanks a lot guys. Still not able to add IMG links.

And i can't seem to find a moderator that knows what's going on.

Here is a link to my Photobucket gallery for the rest of the pics. It's the last five lines of images or thereabouts:

My last three vids of the lighting tests are in my latest youtube uploads:

Nice work Barry. Thanks for sharing the fine pics. Look forward to seeing the paint scheme!

:salute:

Thanks my friend.

I seem to have gotten over the posting limit for pics. Below is an image of the scheme i am going for. Very understated. Just unit markings.

Today i added a couple of greeblies(Not on the original piece) to break up a blank area on the top.

And i made a new master pattern for the rear end. This way, if i decide to make more, the front end, rear end, engine butresses, intake cowling, vanes, cones, and exhausts are all molded. So the rest of the work needed to build one is just work with styrene sheet and everygreen stock. It just depends how far i want to go with details.

Here are some pics of the two greeblies, and the "masters patterns" for the craft.

The last pic is the fornt and rear end masters taped together. It gave me an idea for a "V-Shuttle" style of Arvus variants with different length main bodies(Small fighter with tiny area between front and back, and a long tanker version...).

In any case, here are the pics.

The colour scheme i will be using:
