MV Lens sizes for formation light, recognition, etc.

I'd like to have a nice selection of MV Lens on hand for the numerous reasons we use them. Is there a guide out there that anyones put together out there for the verious sizes and their uses. For instance I'm working on a 1/48 F-5E from AFV and the recognition lights are on the top and both of the wing, what size would these be? Another landing lights mounted on gear? And so on, and so on. This would a big help in not guessing and spending money on the wrong sizes of lenses.

That said, you might be onto something. I try to have a variety of lenses in my stash at any given point in time. Given that most of us have more unbuilt kits than we'll ever build, our money might be better spent on accessories like MV lenses!

Pulled out the ole' ruler and measured lights for everything from 1/72 to 1/32 and ended up buying lenses from 1mm to 4mm. I've got dozens of these little suckers on the way.
