Frequently (if not usually) covered on the ground.

Not a disaster though. How about just a piece of K&S brass tubing of the proper size? Or Plastruct styrene tubing? Or a big fat piece of sprue? Not all disasters require aftermarket goodies :)

I'd still have to drill the holes. And I failed at drilling holes in the indents on the kit barrel. :doh:

I'll give it a coat of paint and hopefully it won't look that bad.

I thought the hobbyboss kit came with two,anyway so you could display the cannon outside the kit and still have pen on the kit.
