arnobiz
Very nice work Naza , which kit did you use for the Tomcat? I like how your blue paint matches exactly the decals, what brand/colour did you use? Arnaud PS Why did you not apply any stencil on the LANTIRN?
limyc
Excellent work! Clean build yet detailed! I would love to know the color u used for the blue, matches the decals perfectly!
ChippyWho
Truly awesome; a magnificent piece of work! I do love that classic VF-213 scheme, just wondering with the other guys what paint or mix you used...?
NazaruddinHashim
gud day guys....sorry for the late reply... arnobiz,limmyc,chppywho....thanks for kind of words....agreed with all of you....its a tough task to match the blue decals on paint....I decided to use an airbrush to match the blue, which meant, no blue decals at all...the difficulties are, to cut the yellow stars/patern on the decals and place it individually after blue painted.. ..I'm a gunze mr.color user...if I'm not mistaken, there're 3 colour's to mix to get the blue... Gunze 65 Bright Blue mix with about 10% of gloss white,...and I added a drop of red...be careful with the red...honestly .. I can't get the 100% decals match...just try as closed as I can... kit- tractor- Cockpit as for deck... used DreamModel PE on my own custom base... mounting board I add some texture arnobiz....I'm not sure why ...might no decals provided for the lantirn thou... I might be wrong... Hope thats will help...Happy Modeling.. Thanks and regards Naza
arnobiz
Thanks for the explanations and well done for removing the blue from the decals then! There are decals provided for the LANTIRN (I'm buidling this kit at the moment, hence my interest!) but they might not be correct regarding the pod number. NazaruddinHashim
pilot from my spare part box...I'm not sure from what brand...its a standing pilot... I've to modified legs and arms...too excited to attach the last part... I miss the stencil...all the best for your build arnobiz...awesome details..honest;) Regards Naza
