Flyingfortress
Just learned you can download a KINDLE reading device to your PC (it's free!). Has anyone done this yet as I'm looking for some feedback on how well it works, what books are available ect ect
richter111
Yep, anything you have on your kindle, you can have on your PC, it is a great deal!
RockyController
I have it as well and also downloaded to app to my phone and tablet. Any books I buy on Amazon that are Kindle capable I can read anywhere.
Supertom
Oh yeah, it's pretty slick. I've got it on my laptop and phone, and the account is synched to my Kindle device so I have my books with me everywhere I go! Pretty nifty eh?
RockyController
I think now all you really need is an Amazon account to use it and not the actual Kindle device.
dmk0210
I have it on my PC and my cell phone (Android). It's great for reading, but graphics aren't the best and you can't zoom graphics and charts (at least I haven't found a way to). So it's not good for just any book. Read the reviews before purchasing. On books that format nicely in digital, I love it though. I have a considerable collection of books I purchased as well as classics downloaded for free. If I'm ever stuck in an airport or car shop for a while, I have plenty to read.
