darren
Does anyone know the correct Gray applied on the undersides of the post-war RCAF Rescue Lancs? The references I have just say LIght Gray.
AX 365
Darren: Here's a link to the colours used on RCAF / CAF aircraft. Chip #24 from the top is the colour you want. Unfortunately, there's no FS number referred to. http://hedgehoghollow.com/buzz/Colour_Guide/aircraft_clr.html Hope this helps. Mike
Bill-TGH
Hydro Quebec still specs this colour (501-108) for these... darren
Thanx for the prompt replies. Chip #24 looks a bit like Light Aircraft Gray. I wonder?
phantom
I used Tamiya INJ Gray and mixed in a little something, can't remember exactly what.........could have been 36440. Looks like this when done:
Scott Hemsley
I compiled the Canadian Colours on the IPMS 'Buzz' Buerling site, but I couldn't find a stated FS equivalent at the time. Looking at it now, maybe FS36440 or even a lightened FS36440? According to my FS colour chip book, the gloss finish on FS16440 actually looks like that's what you want. It makes the FS36440 appear a tad lighter. Scott
phantom
440 does not have the light green tinge you find in the colour I used.
Charlie Cheetah
I used light aircraft grey on my Mk10 SAR. No idea if its right or not buts ok to me.
