hworth18
I have been really busy lately, but fortunately I have found time to complete my outstanding projects. This is a Hasegawa 1/32 Ki-61 Tony, it was built OOB with the exception of the 21st Century Japanese pilot figure. All of the markings except for the landing gear numbers have been painted on. Thanks for looking..
AlienFrogModeller
Nice work! How did you like the kit? Any major issues?
blunce
Simply beautiful! Did you freehand AB the camo?
hworth18
Nice work! How did you like the kit? Any major issues? Thanks! The kit wasn't bad, just like any 1/32 Hasegawa kit the upper wing fuselage fit is not that great but the rest of the kit was smooth. I actually ended up not glueing the wings to the fuselage because I plan on disassembling it for storage.
hworth18
Simply beautiful! Did you freehand AB the camo? Thanks! Yes, I freehanded the camo and used stencils on the markings from the Topcolors Series Fighters over Japan. The stencils are excellent and I recommend using them if you can. hworth18
Thanks for the kind words guys. I don't build very often and this project has been sitting on my in-progress shelf for almost a year. I finally broke down and decided it was time to clear the shelf.
