An-124 Ruslan RA-82021 finished

Recommended Posts

truly impressive & a very smart looking piece of modelling. I first saw one of these at the Australian bicentennial Airshow in 1988 when they were still "the other side". It impressed the hell out of me, the more so when I think about its display routine, low, slow & dirty & all over the place, would've done a much smaller plane proud. Your model has captured the look of the beast to a tee.

Steve.

A great build! I've had the opportunity to see one some-what close a couple of times. Before Boeing made the Dreamlifter (the converted 747 that looks like a hotdog bun) they used the AN-124's to carry 787 parts back and forth. They are an amazing aircraft to see up close, and as was said, you captured the look of them very well.

Hvala prijatelju!!

Nice work!

So how long did it take you to apply all those decals on top of the wings?

Thanks. Maybe 2 days, it goes very well, because it goes serially on!

Excellent work

I have this kit too but the huge size block me, for the moment, to make it :)

Roberto

Thanks Roberto, i have space, but i dont have such huge display for it, to put it inside!

Very nice!

Terry

Thanks Terry!

I get to see these all the time at Moffett Field here in California, and this looks the part! As a matter of fact one is sitting across the field with a KC-135 parked near by looking like a toy! Nice piece of work brother!

Curt

Thanks Curt, Ruslan is such a lovely machine!!

Great model, mario! Now I only wish I had some place to put my... I guess she'll have to rest in a stash for a little bit longer :(

Thanks Sebastijan, i have space, but i havent got proper place for display it, because it is so huge :-)

Outstanding work Mario!

As Ken said, excellent work on the restrained panel lines, and the finish you have done on this is first class.
