Pete
About time I show something in here. I decided to build the Special Hobby 1/72 Fairey Firefly for this GB. Mine will be a Dutch Navy one as seen in my banner. I'll explain a few things about the Fireflies in Dutch service in a later post, for now just two pics of the cockpit in progress: Thanks for looking. blunce
Hmm, good 'ol Special Hobby! They make some eclectic kits, but they're a long way from Tamiyagawa! Those look like some happy sharks! Glad to see ya posting some work here Pete!
Pete
Ok, here's how far I am with the Firefly now. there's no way I will be able to finish it on time, so that will be for another day. Luckily I have recently bought the Revell issue of the old but not bad Vampire FB.5 in 1/72, which comes with sharkmouth decals. It's ready for a glosscoat now, so that should be done on the 30th.
