cvnf14p3ordy
Since VFA-103 seems to be pretty popular amongst all model builders I thought I'd post a few pics and a vid for all of you to enjoy and for reference photos. I was thrilled to receive a text from a friend telling me there was a twin tailed fighter parked at Signature Flight Support last week. Once I left work I immediately noticed it was a Rhino and a foxtrot! I was able to pull some strings and the crew gladly walked me out to the jet for some photos. This Rhino's a lot 27 Super Bug with the ACS and dual JHMCS gear (look at the canopy). It's a line jet so the skull & cross bones aren't easily seen on the vertical stabs. Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
Nice! First fresh shots I've seen of them in a while. Thank you for that!!
VFA-103guy
Very cool!! I just got walk arounds of the new CAG scheme and CO's jet, and got more coming this week! I think I like the dk grey tailed line jets from 2006/2007 better though.
cvnf14p3ordy
Glad you guys liked them. Brian, I agree. Guess the Navy decided even a darker gray tale was too much color for a line jet...
GreyGhost
Nice shots ... The wet conditions really brought out the demarcation line ... Thanks for sharing ... -Gregg
