Eduard MIG-21 (N)MF

Here's my MIG-21 from Eduard.

Wonderful kit.

I've just made some modifications in the front wheel bay, in the exhaust nozzle, and in the cockpit.

hi,

here's my technic

first step Revell acryl coat "silver" applied with an airbrush

second step oil whash black in all the panel and rivets lines. Some panels are completely covered with the wash to have a darker tone. I wipe without thinner with a soft cloth, to keep the dark tone.

Final step is applying the rub n buff wax with diffrerents methods to have the "paneling effect". If you put a light coat of rub n buff the tone is dark, if you put more, the tone is lighter. Each panel is covered with the wax by different ways. If the wax is buffered with a finger, you can have a very shiny finish like chrome, if it buffered with a soft brush the final result will be more satin, if it is not buffered at all you have a matt result.
