gaz262 Posted October 11, 2011 Share Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) The Spit 16e is on my modelling bench at the moment and is gonna be completed in the all-silver 'Pilot Fighter Refresher Unit' scheme which, according to Tamiya is all-over silver with a single yellow trainer band on the rear fuselage. Should there not be similar yellow bands on the wings for this scheme and also, has anyone any more info on the unit from RAF Finningley in 1947/48?
