CorsairMan
I picked up this builder special from a friend... who likely picked it up from another friend. It was about 90% built and the only thing painted was the cockpit. Who knows when it was started but I wanted to finish it for an RAF vet I know. He flew in 238 Squadron in the middle east. I know the markings are wrong (its not easy to find those here) but I believe the finish would have been similar. Hope he likes it. Its OOB with the kit decals (which were so-so but they were also exposed to the elements for years... so, considering that, they were not too bad) Tamiya acrylics. Jamie Cheslo
Great paintwork. I have always thought the Vokes filter on the Spitfire gave it a meaner look.
