pollie
Was it one of the aggressors, or a Weapon School bird?
Jinxter13
The pilot lives to fly another day, the first and best news. The USAF will be going thru every "C/B" left in the inventory with a very, very fine toothed comb. Some of those birds must be pushing max hrs on the airframe if not past it. MSIP doesn't cover airframe replacement.
IrishGreek
Always good to hear that the pilot was walking after an ejection ... Gregg You are right there! I worked with a guy who had been an A-4 pilot who had to eject from his plane after it was hit. His back was major s****ed!! He never really walked right when I knew him. 11bee
Hoping that this wasn't due to yet another airframe fatigue problem. With the F-22 problematic for the near future, having the Eagle fleet grounded would be a huge issue.
