kuya
still new to figure painting and need comments, tips and suggestions... this is what I did so far...primed with ijn cockpit green (was doing the cockpit so to save paint, primed the figure as well)...instructions say red brown and flat earth for the overall leather suit and flat brown to both gloves and boots but I kinda messed up the suit, mixed red brown with flat brown, plan to just make do with drybrushing and washing later... TonyT
Looking good, I would try to vary the colours of the boots from the gloves from the suit etc as the leather would not be form the same batch so would vary, but you are doing really well, damn I would struggle to see it at that size.. Sites like these help, this is a summer flying suit, see the pockets are different colours too, they also give you a more realistic look at the colours, the second link has the gloves too http://www.historicflyingclothing.com/viewitem.php?id=331 http://www.jcmilitaria.com/aeronautica.asp These may help you with the Aircraft too http://www.j-aircraft.com/research/otherres.htm :) Edited October 28, 2011 by TonyT
