Zero Enna
I just noticed that HobbyBoss P-51D's main landing gear doors (outer doors, the doors attached to the struts) are too short, about 1.5 mm... Not so much, but it makes the landing gear look too long if you compare it to pics of actual aircraft: I decided to make new doors, and I already have the basic shape made out of .35 mm plastic card, but I need pics of the inner side to make the details, It doesn't matter if they are acutal pics or pics taken from a model kit. Thanks a lot in advance. Best regards. José. P.S. The worst of all is that the those missing 1.5 mm are moulded on the 1-piece wing as part of the inner doors, very difficult (almost impossible) to remove, but I think I can live with that :(
Modelmkr
I'm sure there are better pictures out there, but this may be of some help.

Zero Enna
Thanks for the walkaround Tony :) I also needed pics of the landing light on the port wheel well. Hmmm... I had a very bad time trying to put the wings and fuselage together, they have a very bad fit and a lot of trimming is needed: Pic found in this Forum and belongs to Bennygmanuk, use only for discussion. My new doors are already finished Here are a couple of them still in-progress, I don't have my camera ATM so i didn't take any pics of them finished: In the first pic you can see a comparison between my scratchbuilt part and the kit part, this last being too short ~1.5 mm. In the second pic you can see what is going to be the internal detail. Thanks a lot for your replies. Best regards. José. P.S: That radiator scoop must be drilled out Edited November 5, 2011 by Zero Enna
