vince14
For those interested in all things F1, Model Factory Hiro (a very well respected manufacturer of resin car kits) is releasing a 1/12 scale Lotus 79. Like the Tamiya Mustang or a Wingnut Wings kit, this will represent the current high-tide mark in F1 models. Although you will need to part with at least £576 ($919 USD) to get one.... Bigasshammm
Not for that price.
janman
Looking at the beauuuutifully detailed engine the price suddenly doesn't seem that high anymore. A lot of money anyhow.
vince14
I suspect that, given that there will be a very limited number of kits produced, these things will quickly become collector's items. Give it a couple of years after release and the Ebay prices will be insane. Vince
Bigasshammm
Yeah it's a beautiful kit but I can't ever see spending anywhere near that much on a model or anything like that. Especially when you still then have to build it and have all that time to screw it up. It's not like you can buy a second one in case you do. No thanks.
ChippyWho
...and it's reduced from £640.00!! Presumably for pre-orders.
