Stefano,

What type of wood are you using for the wing spars, ribs, etc.? What type for the fuselage framing? Seat?

Thanks, and again: beautiful work!

Warren

Dear Warren,

for this model I'm using almost exclusively a special byrch plywood, made of 3 layers and 3/10mm thick.

All fuselage is made of it and the prop too.

It's easy to work, very resistant, more than common wood and you can cut it by a simple cutter or even scissors  .

In some other situation, for exampre in wing's spars, I've used also boxwood or walnut strip 1x1mm.

If you're interested about this playwood, you can order it to Mantuamodel HERE.

Bye and thanks for your attention, Stefano. :)

Wow.

Are you going to put a skin on it or leave it as an open frame work? It seems a shame to cover up all those details.

Absolutely open frame, otherwise all this work would be aimless!!! :)

Let me show last images of the tail

You say this is the last model you made.

Do you have pictures of the other ones ?

Man, I wish I had your skill :woot.gif:

I made other models, many years ago some planes, but this are not in good conditions...

I love all modelling forms like navy, planes, AFV, guns etc. ever in scratch from metal and wood.
