Curtiss Sparrohawk- Engine Underside?

Recommended Posts

Okay, I need some help with a small detail there seems to be NO photos of. Basically, there's.... SOMETHING on the underside of the Curtiss Sparrowhawk, right behind the engine. Thing is, I need to know what it looks like, in order to add it to my model. The best I can get is photos like this:

It may be something small, but it's actually pretty critical for the model I'm building. Basically, something needs to be there, that something is it, but I DON'T KNOW HOW TO BUILD IT! Anybody have or know where to find detail shots?

Thank you in advance!

I took it,I recall, at the Smithsonian facility at Dulles Airport.Let me know if you have any other requirements, I took a lot of photos.

Perfect! Thank you SOOO much! Basically, I'm trying to hang mine from the skyhook because I built it with the fuel tank and no landing gear, but I'm having to use details (like this) to balance it. And that's one of the only details I have left to add! Thank you again!

I'm pretty set on any other areas, I think, but if I need some more detail shots I'll let you know.
