Randy D
Hello All, New guy to the site, thought I would share this build. Kate was a single engine bomber with a crew of three. The kit seems okay but I'm no expert on WW2 Japanese planes Going to use the Eduard etch set, a rein engine from Vector and throw in some scratch work. Will start with the engine, Beautiful castings but needs some more details... Edited December 9, 2011 by Randy D

Randy D
Thanks to Brian and Corsairman for taking the time to comment :) :) Cockpit build photos.... Going to add a bunch of clutter and heavy weathering to the interior, scraps and boxes and such. Using this photo for inspiration.

Randy D
Thanks for the welcome Aaron! Some progress up front.... The engine kit did not come with exhaust so made some up , then went ahead and built up some framework for the cowling panels and engine, also built up a firewall and details.... blunce
OT DAMN Randy, that's SOME scratchin' you got goin' on there! Your firewall on forward is looking really good. And in the pit', I LOVE these two shots, had to look at it a couple times to make sure I wasn't lookin' at the real thing! Both of these shots show some improvement in the photo quality too. You might try to shorten the exposure a bit or maybe mess around with the white balance settings. You're first several pictures were hard to see any details.
