ChesshireCat
I sat in a Chevy Cruze at the auto show, very unimpressed ... Way to tight getting in and out, the B pillar is to far forward ... It was actually easier to get in and out of the Volt than the Cruze ... The Dart is a great looking car, the photos don't really do it justice ... >>> Dart GTS <<< Gregg when a car is designed the basic super structure comes first. G.M. has a computer program that tells the designer where to put the pillars (there are six). This is a saftey issue alone, and also why the strongest bodies are always four doors. gary
tosouthern66
Here is what I see when i look at the new Dart', I see a redisgned Neon. The only modern day redsigned cars that look the part of yester year are Mustang,Challenger and Camero(somewhat). They should have given it more Dart features from the old car. It might look like Neon, but thankfully it is an Alfa Romeo 159ti with Dodge badges and custom front end on it.

scorvi
I've never known a late model American car that lasted much over 100k miles or didn't have severe flaws. With Ford you almost always had electrical issues. Dodge had body part/metal issues rusting far too fast. I've honestly not known anyone who had a Chevy anything aside from my dad had a giant Chevy van which I will say he had forever. It pulled our boat like a champ but he was always working on it as well. The only current American cars that look great design-wise are Cadillacs. They've redone their brand and really done it well. Otherwise this retro kick isn't working for me. If you had the choice between a Ford Escort, Chevy whatever, Dodge Neon or equivalent, or Toyota Camry, all used with around 200k miles you're always taking the Yota. APPLES TO ORANGES. Why are you comparing a Camry to American Econo-boxes. Why not compare it to a comparable American car. BTW- Hate to break this to you they all come from the same VAT of car parts. I have owned them all and have had problems equally. Honda arent bad but now my dad and a few friends are regretting getting one--quality control aint what it used to be at all companies! I own a Dodge Challenger love it!
