Fellow Hobbyist
In the middle part of the last decade I underwent flight training. Most of the hours I logged are in the Cessna 172R. Skyhawks are easy to handle and very forgiving aircraft. Some of my most memorable flight experiences in my life were in the seat of the Skyhawk. One such recollection occurred while flying out of Springfield, VT on a return leg of a stage check ride. I was heading back southeast towards southern New Hampshire. As the climb out continued the plane the plane was flanked on each side by curtains of virga. It was one of the most impressive sights I'd ever seen to that point. Fortunately the virga was far enough away to maintain VFR but what a sight! I have also flown a higher performing Piper PA-28R Arrow II and the Grob G-109 motor-glider. Lucas C.
My list is puny. All as cargo: CN-235 L-100 Hercules Beechcraft B200 UH-60L Another Blackhawk variant (don't know which one, it was too dark for me to tell). Several regional jets and turboprops from Embraer and Bombardier. A gaggle of the usual airliners from Boeing and Airbus (but I have yet to ride in a 787 or an A-380).
