Jan-Pawel
Hi, I have a question about them. What are the qualities and the defects of these kits (regardless of the variants) ? Thx JP

Jan-Pawel
Thank you very much. I note that DamienB talks mostly about british variants (GR/T), but I suppose that these comments can be applied to french variants (A/E) ?
mirage@enthusiast
Hi! I have the French Jaguar A from the Italeri and I satisfied with this kit (well Known the Italeri earlier kits)... The recessed panel lines a bit deep but not so bad and it deliver typical french ordenance to the kit... You could build Jags from Chad war, Operation Daguet... and naturally with weapons used the specific war. (laser Matra AS-30L, R-550 , and unguided rocket pods) I think it is good enough but need some after work to get a nice Big Cat! Cheers Polo
Dingo
Hasegawa, period Built mine as a Desert Storm bird with scratchbuilt addons.
Jan-Pawel
Well, if I want to build a series of models with different variants, markings and configurations, no need to spend lot of money in trying to buy Italeri kits (I talk especially for French variants, 'cause RAF aircrafts are easy to find). Hasegawa's are sufficient. I have few Italeri kits in my stash (2x british and 3x french, 2x trainers and 3x single-seater) and 2 from Hasegawa (single-seater). And Also 2 from Heller (but I'll maybe withdraw them). Thank you for your help.
Andre
Well, if I want to build a series of models with different variants, markings and configurations, no need to spend lot of money in trying to buy Italeri kits (I talk especially for French variants, 'cause RAF aircrafts are easy to find). Then again, Italeri's French Jaguars contain some bits of kit not in the Hasegawa kits, like the conformal chaff/flare dispensers and French-specific weapons.
