aircraftprofiles
Here´s my latest work: The A-7A Corsair II. STill there´s some work to do but it´s very close to completion. Thsi model is infact a 3d model, so i´m currently orking on doing a series of scenes depicting a Vietnam War era Alpha strike. But more on that later. Here´s a profile sample of the A-7A. Hope you like it:
Art Eggers
It looks great... FYI... The Guidance and Control section of an AIM-9B/E Sidewinder IR Missile of that era is white [very dirty too], not gray.... the gray colored G&C Sections came much later with the AIM-9L/M, which is really a new generation of Sidewinders... I worked on these missiles in the 70s and 80s and served in Thailand during the VietNam War as a Missile Guidance and Control Technician in the USAF... Just for what it's worth! Your 3D rendering is fabulous! Thank your for sharing! Art
aircraftprofiles
Thnaks ! I read somewhere that the NAVY A_7s used AIM-9Ds but i had a hard time finding proper reference for the D-model so i think you might be right about that ! Thanks
