UKPonchoMan
Moving onto my second F-16 (this time a 'C from Rammstein), I again chose to use an Eduard color etch sheet rather than resin, and was again quite pleased with the result:- Edited December 28, 2011 by UKPonchoMan

Falcon
Coming along nicely there Chris. I like the Photo-etch work in the cockpit. Think I may have to invest in a few sets.
UKPonchoMan
I was quite surprised how good it looks to be honest - I may stick with this approach instead of resin as it's a lot easier and looks nice!
UKPonchoMan
Minor update... I used a resin exhast painted with a mixture of Testors MM Titanium Metallizer, with a little SnJ metal powder to help polish the Metallizer a little. Once this dried I sprayed Zero Paints Brilliant White inside the intakes and then used some black pastels to bring out the detail. Quite pleased with this!
UKPonchoMan
More progress on the 'C, alongside the A model...
cpoud117
It looks as good as his older brother :)
Pete
Ooooh, I love that exhaust! Which brand is it?
UKPonchoMan
From memory it's CMK. It's very nice, although slightly undersize...
UKPonchoMan
The Ramstein 'C is also ready for glossing...
UKPonchoMan
Well, my 2nd F-16 turned out to be the first one finished... not too bad but not my best... See the finished builds thread for more pics...
Rhino53
Haydn won't like that one, too pretty.
UKPonchoMan
He's already seen it... I think he was too focused on his "OT" F-16 to notice...
Pete
Good job! A bit too clean for my taste, but very nice. One minor thing, though. Those two lights on each side of the tail, shouldn't be colored, but are just white lights. For the rest, good job! It really went from superglossy to superflat, what did you use for the flatcoat? UKPonchoMan
I wasn't sure about the lights to be honest - I know that nowadays they're red in colour but couldn't find any decent pics of earlier a/c... The flat is Windsor & Newton Galeria Medium Matt Varnish - water based and lays down quite nicely although it is a little rough.
Eric2020
Stunning piece of work Chris! Its very clean, but not an problem as its the CO's aircraft in perfect condition.
UKPonchoMan
I'm not a fan of weathering in 1/72 - it's far too easy to overdo itand completely mess things up...
