jezones
Can and body identify this old bi-plane, If a model is made of it, it would make a great addition to my Georgia Collection. GA Guard Bi-plane
The Rat
Looks like a Stearman Model 75. There are a number of models in different scales, but I haven't built one so I can't comment on the merits of each one. Edited December 30, 2011 by The Rat
tornado64
it's a stearman bi plane , a very popular type so i can't see there not being a kit !!
A-4Silverfox
Lindberg originally did a 1/48 kit, which was accurate but had NO interior to speak of. Don't know who makes one now. Squadron may have them.

Hal Marshman Sr
Your Boeing Stearman PT-17 is almost certainly all silver dope, although it's possible it might be all Trainer Yellow. note the hand done serial and NG legend. First thing I ever flew in, summer, 1952, taunton MunicipAL Airport, E Taunton, Ma., Hal Sr
Aaronw
Revell did a 1/72 Stearman, one of the Revells recently reissued the kit so it should be fairly easy to find.
jezones
This is why I love ARC. All you have to do is ask the question and it will be answered. Thanks so much. And I did notice the markings looked hand written. The serial number and ga guard markings look to be about it. It will be nice to have this mixed in with all the more modern jets the the ga guard flew.
