Brutus
Finally figured out what to build after some thoughts from Brian aka Blunce. It's going to be a 1/72 F-4J Phantom II in VF-14 markings straight from Hasegawa 01905 kit.

Team 4R
I've recently gotten back into building warbirds and was hoping I could get in on this group build with my upcoming project... My intention is to build an F4F-4 from VMF-223 during their time on Guadalcanal in late 1942. I know that VMF-223 participated in air superiority missions (CAP, intercept, and sweep), though I haven't been able to specifically confirm that they ever escorted any bombers. SBDs stationed at Henderson Field conducted operations against the IJN during that time, so I'm ASSUMING that some of these F4Fs were used in escort missions as well. Let me know if this is kosher. The parts I'm using should be here in the next week or so, therefore: Notice of intent to build: White 2 (Capt Marion Carl), VMF-223, USMC - 1/48 Tamiya F4F-4 with Aires detail set and Techmod decals. phantom
You need more finished builds here Neo. How about a Desert Storm CF-18 in 1/48 scale in air to air? Thinking 439 squadron. Using Winter Valleys new decals.

ALF18
Neo Believe it or not, I am finally joining your GB! I've been hoping the stars would align for a couple months now - it's time at last. I have a 1/32 Hasegawa P-51D, with the shrink wrap still on the box, so I don't know what scheme yet. Completely OOB, because I am suffering from "difficult build syndrome" and need a straightforward build. Glad to be able to join - you've been doing a great job moderating. Pete
Late entry. A Revell 1/48 F/A-18F with an A/A loadout in VFA-102 markings. Started this a few weeks ago, and realised I could build it for this GB. Will start a thread shortly.
