Painted up the interior and now I've got the fuselage & wings both glued up. Need to fix a couple seams on the fuselage before I mate the two. I gotta say, this is one heck of a weird kit. Great cockpit, more detailed than the Tamiya 1/48th kit. But then the radiator exhaust is worthy of a HB Easy-Build kit, not even opened up at all. Separate flaps, but they're setup to be built raised rather than dropped. And the wings will take careful mounting to get right. And I need to fix the tailwheel location (it's too far forward in the bay). Academy is half-way to a worldbeater here, but the other half is distinctly bad 1970's engineering.

Unfortunately not a kit I can recommend. There's better options these days, at similar or lower prices (thank you Airfix). Academy made some silly mistakes on this one, thankfully they're mostly hidden (rad exhaust, tail wheel location)
