Wolfgun33
Hey Oliver! Great to see someone else doing an Osprey. Although Flight666's Osprey is better than mine, here's a link to the one I built. Can't wait to see the build. Good luck and have fun. http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=218940&st=0&p=2081124&hl=mv-22%20osprey&fromsearch=1entry2081124
Flight 666
Its nice to see, that we can do an International helping projekt. This is the best way of modelling I think, put it out of your own four walls, into the community and building social networks. Cool wolfgun. Your are a real cool guy. All the best wishes from Roth/Germany to Canada and Texas
edwards scissorhands
I everybody thank you very much for your nice word!! HP special thanks for your precious help,Wolfgun33 nice to meet you!!! I'd like to start first with the cockpit section, after looking many picture it's seems like Italeri gave a prototype version for the instrument panel. My solution was to scratch a new instrument panel. Like I said in my presentation i'm french speaking,it's a little bit difficult for me to explain every stage... It will be easier for me to respond to question . I cut every thing now every thing must be sanded so you get a very tine cadran After sanding every thing was repositioned and some and some new instrument panel aded some extra work will be needed like 2 besels and the radio section I start doing the fabric shield whith wood glue and klinexx thats it for now hope you like thanks guys oliver Edited January 6, 2012 by edwards scissorhands

edwards scissorhands
hello all thank's guys for the warm welcome,it's with a great pleasure that I will build that osprey with you!!! for now I let the instrument aside and start something less demanding I start to cut the side door, for that operation I like to take my time whit the cuting,I use the dremel by the inside to take out some thikness then I use a razor blade and slowly apply pressure on the door line.the purpose of that technique is to use something that is not to thick(blade) the more thicker the blade is the more plastic you will lost, and we dont whant that nothing very dificult...just time next I start working on the seat the base of the seat: working with plastic sheet,I gave the shape first now I ave to covered!!!!for that I use klinexx with wood glue left picture not covered and right covered It give you something like that I think I ave a lot to do loll the rest of the will be made on a nother moment. feel free to ask question again thank you for watching oliver Edited January 6, 2012 by edwards scissorhands

SteveV22FE
Depending on which Block of MV-22B your going to build, make sure you removed the AVR-2A sensors off the side of the fuselage. If you build a Block A Mod, remove the AVR-2A sensor and put a plate in it's place. If you build a Block A Production, sand off the AVR-2A sensor and leave it as-is. Block B had no AVR-2A. LRIP birds retained the Sensor.
darren
Looking good so far Oliver. Keep up the great work!

Looking good so far Oliver.Keep up the great work! Thanks mate :) ok now the build is going well whit the cockpit station Like the rest of the cockpit that portion of the kit is a good base for extra details I work on the back portion just behind the instrument panel (cushion fabric, cable) this is cigaret paper, many fold layer that I punch whit a tubing that I ave sharpened to represent the accordeon next to the pedals
edwards scissorhands
I used allu paper to shape the back of the consol, then I covered with the klinexx whit glue for the pedals I scult it in milyput when it was very hard,I use a dremel I didnt ave any picture of the under of the central consol....if somebody ave picture of this portion I could fix or reshape that section (how the consol is fix tho the floor) Edited January 8, 2012 by edwards scissorhands
